Wealthsimple acquires wealth management platform, Plenty 

Toronto, ON (April 9, 2025) – Wealthsimple, the financial services platform on a mission to help Canadians achieve financial freedom, today announced the acquisition of Plenty, a wealth management platform for couples. 

Wealthsimple believes financial success is better when shared. Plenty has built an innovative platform designed to help couples navigate financial decisions together, from budgeting to long-term investing. Their expertise complements Wealthsimple’s expansion of products for couples and families, including householding for Premium and Generation status clients, joint accounts, spousal RRSPs and RESPs.
