Wealthsimple names former Zillow executive to board of directors

TORONTO, ON (June 27, 2024) - Wealthsimple, the money management platform on a mission to help Canadians achieve financial freedom, today announced the appointment of veteran technology and marketing executive Amy Bohutinsky to its board of directors. 

The appointment is effective May 1. She replaces David Zhang, who stepped down from Wealthsimple’s board after serving for more than three years. 

Amy was a founding executive at Zillow, the pioneering real estate technology company. Joining in 2005, she served as chief marketing officer and chief operating officer over a 13-year span. Amy was instrumental in driving growth and building Zillow's brand as the leading online marketplace for homebuyers and sellers. She has been a board member at Zillow Group since 2018.
